If you're looking for an exciting ride, HORSE is your game. It's poker's version of the pentathlon, where players compete across five games, Hold 'em, Omaha 8/Better, Razz, Seven Card Stud High, Eight/Better Seven Card Stud.

Definition: In a H.O.R.S.E. poker game or tournament event, the kind of poker played in each round varies -- in this case, the five games are:

H : Hold'em
O: Omaha
R: Razz
S: Seven-card Stud high
E: Seven-card stud high-lowEight or better, or hi-lo

If you are playing a H.O.R.S.E rotation game, the game would change every time the dealer button made a full round. In tournaments, the game changes at the end of each round, or after a set and predetermined amount of time.

In 2006, the World Series of Poker introduced a $50,000 buy-in H.O.R.S.E.
